My story

Years ago, James made a decision: if work was going to be a necessary part of life, he wanted to do something he was both good at and truly enjoyed. That decision led him to the field of mental health, where he’s spent the past decade connecting with individuals and supporting them in making meaningful changes in their lives.

James earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Weber State University and his Master’s in Social Work from Boise State University. His professional journey has been shaped by a deep love for helping others find clarity, confidence, and connection.

Outside of the therapy room, James is married and shares his home with two beloved dogs—a black lab named Vader and a corgi named Miso. He enjoys hiking, traveling, entertaining, and spending quality time with family. He’s also a fan of puzzles, games, and building with Legos.
